March, 2010 additions/changes to the toolbox
-
All spatial econometrics functions in the toolbox reflect new methods described
in the text Introduction to Spatial Econometrics by LeSage and Pace and now print out direct, indirect and total effects estimates (the
scalar summary measures described in the book) plus measures of dispersion for
significance testing.
-
The spatial probit and tobit functions, sarp_g.m and sart_g.m
have been corrected following the description in Chapter 10
of the text Introduction to Spatial Econometrics by LeSage and Pace.
-
Under the Download Tab, a new version of Arc_Mat version 1.0
(The Mapping functions) which includes a new Mac OSX binary
for the shaperead.c function
-
A new Object Oriented version of the Arc_MAT mapping functions
is also available under the Download Tab, Arc_Mat version 1.1
which is described in Liu, Xingjian and James P. LeSage,
Arc_Mat: A Matlab-based Spatial Data Analysis Toolbox,
Journal of Geographical Systems, 2010, Volume 12, number 1, pp. 69-87.
-
A new toolbox (in the folder spatial/stats/FESPD_Est_Tests/)
has been contributed by N. Debarsy and C. Ertur, It includes estimation
of fixed effects spatial panel data models based on the methodology developed by
Lung-Fei Lee and Jihai Yu (Journal of Econometrics, 2010, 154, 165-185)
as well as LM and LR tests developed by N. Debarsy and C. Ertur Testing for
Spatial Autocorrelation in a Fixed Effects Panel Data Model
(LEO Working Paper 2009-12 - halshs-00414133_v1)
that can be downloaded from REPEC.
-
The UCSD Garch Toolbox has been updated to the most recent version
-
J. Paul Elhorst panel data routines have been updated to the most recent version
-
A bug in the sur.m function predicted values has been fixed.
-
Corrections to the logit.m predicted values have been made.
-
Corrections to the ecmf.m and bvarf_g.m functions suggested
by Adam Elbourne , A.C.Elbourne@cpb.nl have been made.
